PKO BP analysts wrote in social media that this year, before Easter, the expenses of customers of the largest bank in Poland “are slower than in 2022”. They also emphasized that, as was the case a year ago, “an increase in the value of card transactions in stores” was not observed.

“This year, pre-Christmas spending by PKO BP customers is growing slower than in 2022,” PKO BP economists wrote on Twitter.

They added that “at the end of last week, there was no increase in the value of card transactions in stores observed a year ago before Easter.”

Easter – how much will it cost?
