Edge. Breakdown at the railway station after the storm. Trains on the Opole – Wrocław line do not run

On Sunday evening, as a result of a storm, control devices failed at the railway station in Brzeg (Opole Voivodeship). Train traffic on the Opole-Wrocław line is suspended.

– At the moment by Edge there are no trains on the line OpoleWroclaw. Efforts are underway to locate and remove the failure. We are in constant contact with carriers. We are trying to solve the problem of passengers using this line as quickly as possible – said Karol Jakubowski from the PKP PLK press team on Sunday evening.

Earlier, the officer on duty from the Provincial Fire Department Headquarters in Opole informed that two trains had been stopped due to a failure of the traction network at the station in Brzeg.

Warnings are in force in almost all of Poland Institute of Meteorology and Water Management in conjunction with storms. An alert has been announced for several voivodeships Government Security Center.
