The map on the website of Energa Operator shows that in a large part of the Pomeranian Voivodeship emergency and mass shutdowns of electricity are underway due to grid damage. Mass failures occur in the following poviats: Bytów, Chojnice, Gdańsk, Kartuski, Kościerzyna, Lębork, Puck, Starogard, Świecie, Tczew, Wejherowo and in Gdańsk, Gdynia and Sopot. In parts of the Pomorskie and Zachodniopomorskie voivodships, over 17.5 thousand customers are without electricity, according to Energa Obrót on its website. 140 energy emergency brigades have been operating in the field since yesterday.

– The largest number of failures concerns the Kartuzy and Bytów regions, in each of them about 3.5 thousand customers are constantly without power supply – informs Grzegorz Baran, coordinator of Energa Operator for contact with the media.

He said it could take until Monday to restore power to all customers.

– We assume that today we should be able to restore the medium-voltage network to operation, so we should be able to supply a significant part of these consumers without energy supplies, but there are still low-voltage repairs to be made, individual connections. So it may happen that several hundred customers will still be without power until tomorrow – he emphasizes.
