70 – so many points were scored in the 2024/25 Lech Poznań season on Saturday, who could celebrate the Polish championship. Piurters Nielsa Frederiksen overtook only the Raków Częstochowa, which in recent weeks fell even with Jagiellonia Białystok or drew with Korona Kielce. The third place was taken by the national champion of the 2023/24 season, whose last draw with Pogoń allowed to reach for the bronze medal of the Premier League.

During this event, prizes for the best will be distributed: goalkeeper, defender, helper, attacker and coach. This will be decided by the competition chapter, which will be created by several dozen sports journalists. One of the favorites to get the trophy is Lech Poznan Niels Frederiksen. It can be said that the “certainty” in the “best attacker” category is Efthymios Koulouris from Pogoń Szczecin. And it also happened too.
So who can stay pawl season? Journalists were convinced that there are two options: either the previously mentioned Koulouris or the absolute leader of Lech Poznań Afonso Sousa. He scored 13 goals, including the most important one – in the Saturday meeting with Piast Gliwice. In addition, he noted five assists, so it was undoubtedly the best season in his career.
Sławomir aspirated for the award for the “goalkeeper of the season” Abramowicz from Jagiellonia Białystok, Kacper Trelowski from Raków Częstochowa and Bartosz Mrozek from Lech Poznań. Ultimately, the winner was the last one. “It's much easier to play on the pitch than to say something before you,” he joked. “I want to thank my family, coaches and the whole team primarily,” he added. The goalkeepers, however, were somehow reconciled, because Trelowski became the “youth of the season”.
Mateusz Skrzypczak from Jagiellonia Białystok won the category of “defender of the season”. This is a big surprise, because the favorite of many experts was Stratos Svarnas. As for the “helper of the season”, Afonso Sousa became the winner.
