During his speech, he said that the Polish army is getting stronger: – The Polish army is growing stronger. The ranks of the Polish Army are growing in number. Today, over 2.5 thousand soldiers of voluntary, compulsory military service took the military oath – said Deputy Prime Minister Błaszczak. He added that only in Elbląg, 364 soldiers took the oath, and all of them have one goal: the desire to serve the homeland. He noted that 75 percent of them will become professional soldiers, and 25 percent decided to become reserve soldiers, which – as he said – is a great benefit for the state, because they are trained people and aware of the duties that their homeland places on them.
