“Growing trend” in the case of the Civic Coalition and “a certain stagnation on the side of the United Right” – this is how the sociologist Dr. Paweł Maranowski commented on the latest polls in “Kampania #BezKitu”. Deputy Minister of Agriculture Krzysztof Ciecióra (OdNowa Association) assessed that the polls “will change”, and MP Marta Wcisło (PO) pointed to the “hard work” of the Civic Coalition.

The guests of Friday’s “#BezKitu” campaign on TVN24 were: Dr. Paweł Maranowski, sociologist from the Institute of Sociology of Collegium Civitas, Deputy Minister of Agriculture Krzysztof Ciecióra from the OdNowa Association and MP Marta Wcisło from the Civic Platform. Among other things, the last ones were discussed polls party and about the ongoing campaign.

Maranowski said that the survey of party preferences shows an “upward trend” in the case of the Civic Coalition and “a certain stagnation on the side of the United Right.” – And a certain surprise, (…) at least in one of these polls, it is Confederationwhich has 12-13 percent of support, he pointed out.

Where does the rise in support for KO come from? – I would combine it with the march on June 4 and with a fairly effective way of mobilizing my electorate – said the expert. In his opinion, “we were dealing with a certain stagnation, one could say with a deterioration of moods in the PO electorate and KO in general.” – And in recent weeks, I think that the march on June 4 was of particular importance here, it aroused some hope, hope of winning – he added.

The sociologist assessed that “probably the worst thing that can happen to a politician is when his electorate feels that the election will fail, that the election may end in defeat.”

When asked what the ruling party could do in the face of its position, the expert replied: – I think it will be very difficult for the United Right to reverse this trend. It seems to me that they have already reached a ceiling that will be difficult for them to cross and win the votes of even undecided voters.

Ciecióra: polls will change

Deputy Minister Ciecióra argued that “the polls will work, they will change, they will go one way, the other.” In his opinion, “they are a copy of what happened a week ago, two weeks ago.” – That is why there are conventions, rallies, concrete proposals that we will also present – he announced.

Wcisło: you can see how much citizens want change

Wcisło said that “the Civic Coalition is working hard”. “Anyway, we’ve been working for four years,” she added. She reminded that a rally of the leader of the PO will take place in Wrocław on Saturday Donald Tusk and invited everyone to the event.

– You see what happens at meetings with Donald Tusk, you see how he is received and how much citizens expect these meetings and how much they want change – she assessed.
