We hope that at the end of his term, Andrzej Duda will behave like the president of the Republic of Poland and designate a representative of the parliamentary majority as prime minister, said Andrzej Szejna from the Left in Friday’s “Fakty po Faktach”. – There’s no point in fooling around, Mr. President, we have to get down to work. Here, every day is worth its weight in gold – Marcin Kierwiński from the Civic Coalition appealed to the head of state.
On Tuesday and Wednesday, the president Andrzej Duda will meet with representatives of the electoral committees that elected members of the Sejm of the next term. The meetings will be held separately. The law firm provided details in a statement. – We will talk to everyone. I will have a list of questions prepared, and I assume I will ask each guest the same ones, said the president himself in an interview on Friday.
Kierwiński: the president should ensure that democratic change occurs as quickly as possible
– We will see how the president will behave in the coming week. I hope that after the consultations he ordered, he will entrust the mission of forming the government to the opposition candidate, the Prime Minister. Donald Tusk – said Marcin Kierwiński from the Civic Coalition. As he added, “it is clear that the opposition will have a majority in this Sejm.” He noted that “it will be a stable majority.”
– There’s no point in fooling around, Mr. President, we have to get down to work. (….)Here, every day is worth its weight in gold – argued the PO politician.
Kierwiński expressed hope that next week “this ten-day impasse will end.” – Because Mr. President, in fact, he should have held such consultations a few days ago – he said. He added that the president “should make sure that this democratic change takes place as quickly as possible, because it is in the interest of Poles.”
Szejna: today, every day of delay means problems
– We hope that at the end of his term (Andrzej Duda – ed.) he will behave like the president of the Republic of Poland and designate (as head of government – ed.) a representative of the parliamentary majority – said Andrzej Szejna from the Left.
He noted that “today, every day of delay means some problems.” – It’s not just about raises, because they are important for the budget and for teachers, but let me remind you National Reconstruction Plan and money from the European Union require our legislative actions, for which we are ready, we have appropriate draft laws – argued the Left politician.
He emphasized that the president must appoint a government that will be able to deal with “what the PiS government has not done for several hundred days.” He mentioned here funds from the KPO and the VAT loophole. – We need to review public finances, we need to know what we can afford, what we cannot afford, how we can implement all our electoral proposals, and when – explained Szejna.

“PiS wants to buy time”
According to Szejna, PIS he will try to postpone the transfer of power because he “wants to buy time.” – I think it will simply be about clearing various documents, maybe signing some contracts, maybe protecting your back – said the Leftist politician.
As he added, “if we delve into the report of justice Mr. Zbigniew Ziobro, for example, there is Augiasz’s stable there.” He also mentioned the visa scandal. – Now they will simply look at these documents and clean them, so that documents that may constitute evidence will simply get blurred – warned Szejna.
– I have no doubt that there is an attempt by PiS to destroy sensitive documents, and I also have no doubt that there is an attempt to sign various contracts at the last minute – Kierwiński echoed him. – Poles see that PiS wants to stay in power just to maintain impunity – said the KO MP. He assured that “as soon as the authorities change, any such practice of destroying documents to hide one’s own faults will be tracked down and brought to justice, just like the crimes committed by the PiS government.”
Both assured that there were no disputes in the opposition. – The opposition will reach an agreement, the opposition will never argue over any positions. This time, each opposition party is deeply convinced of the importance of this success, argued Kierwiński.
