Eli Manning recreates David Tyree Tremendous Bowl second throughout Giants ceremony

Eli Manning was honored by the New York Giants on Sunday afternoon.

Manning, who gained two Tremendous Bowl titles with the group earlier than retiring after the 2019 season, had his No. 10 jersey retired and his title added to the crew’s Ring of Honor at MetLife Stadium.

Throughout the ceremony, Manning and former Giants wideout David Tyree reenacted their well-known connection from the 2008 Tremendous Bowl, when the quarterback escaped a sack from three New England Patriots defenders and threw a go to Tyree, who caught the ball towards his helmet.

The 32-yard play arrange a game-winning landing for the Giants in a 17-14 upset victory over New England.

Manning walked on stage at halftime of New York’s recreation towards the Atlanta Falcons accompanied by a couple of members of his offensive line. Manning gave a speech and quoted late Giants proprietor Wellington Mara, who notoriously mentioned: “As soon as a Big, All the time a Big.”
