Former Speaker of the Sejm Elżbieta Witek was elected vice-president of Law and Justice on Saturday. Mariusz Błaszczak became the head of the Executive Committee – PiS spokesman Rafał Bochenek announced on Saturday after the end of the Political Council.
It took place on Saturday in Przysucha congress and the Political Council of Law and Justice.
After the end of the Political Council, PiS spokesman Rafał Bochenek announced that the vice-president of the group Mariusz Błaszczak became the head of the Executive Committee, and was the Speaker of the Sejm Elżbieta Witek was elected vice-president of PiS.
Merger of Sovereign Poland and PiS
Journalists asked what the result of the vote was on the resolution on the merger of Sovereign Poland and Law and Justice.
– The overwhelming majority supported the decision of our leader, the Prime Minister Jarosław Kaczyńskiabout the integration of our political circles – assured Bochenek.
Bochenek also informed that there has been no decision yet on the leaders of individual districts. – All this will take place in the coming weeks: regional and local elections – he explained. – Therefore, these decisions will be made in the coming days and weeks – he clarified.
