Energy. Management Board – Vice-President of Energa Dominik Wadecki dismissed

Dominik Wadecki was dismissed from the position of vice-president for operations and climate, Energa informed. This decision was made by the supervisory board of the company. The reason for the cancellation was not given.

The Management Board of Energa SA informed that on Thursday this year the company’s supervisory board “adopted a resolution to dismiss, as of February 16, 2023, Mr. Dominik Wadecki, Vice-President of the Management Board of Energa SA for Operations and Climate, from the company’s management board of the 7th term of office”.

Dominik Wadecki has been a member of the Management Board of Energa since May 31, 2019.

Who is Dominik Wadecki?

As we can read on the Energa website, Dominik Wadecki began his professional career in 1997 in the banking sector at the First Commercial Bank SA in Lublin. From 1999 to 2007 he was an employee of the Supreme Audit Office.

Wadecki has been associated with the energy sector since 2008. He served as internal auditor at Polska Grupa Energetyczna, member of the supervisory board, and member of the Management Board of PGE Zamojska Korporacja Energetyczna SA “He gained his managerial experience at PGE Polska Grupa Energetyczna, as well as at Polska Spółka Gazownictwa sp. z o. o. and at the National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management” – added.

Dominik Wadecki has been associated with the Energa Capital Group since 2017.

Energa is one of the four largest domestic energy companies and one of the three largest suppliers of electricity in Poland. The group’s core business is generation, distribution, trading in electricity and heat, and trading in gas. The company has been listed on the Warsaw Stock Exchange since December 2013. The largest shareholder, controlling 90.92 percent. of shares is Polski Koncern Naftowy Orlen.
