The minister reminded that such a commitment was made by the left in the election campaign, and this postulate also appeared in 100 specifics of the Civic Coalition.

“After over a year, you have to say clearly: enough waiting, time for action – time for the law,” she wrote.

She also informed that on Monday the left candidate for President Magdalena Biejat together with the head of the left club Anna Maria Żukowska and Deputy Marshal of the Sejm Włodzimierz Czarzastym They will present the scale of the Church's financing by the state and the plan for change.

In January last year The inter -ministerial team for the Church Fund has been established, which is to develop a concept of changing the functioning of the church fund and the rules of financing contributions and services from social insurance and health insurance of clergy. It was headed by the Deputy Prime Minister Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

At the end of February Kosiniak-Kamysz said he was a supporter of the exchange of the church fund into a tax copy.

The church fund was established pursuant to the Act of 20 March 1950. According to the assumptions, it was to be a form of compensation for churches and religious associations for land real estate taken over from them. The property mass was to be created from these properties, from which the income was to be divided between churches in proportion to the size of the property taken.

95 percent The expenditure of the church fund is currently social security contributions. It is used by all religious associations operating in Poland, including those that did not operate in our country in 1950 and did not lose any real estate.
