On Saturday, the Equality March went through the streets of Zielona Góra. The Equality Picnic, which was supposed to last until 6 p.m., began at the square in front of the Zielona Góra Philharmonic.

Installation to promote equality
In the square in front of the Marshal’s Office of the Lubuskie Voivodeship at Podgórna Street, at the request of the Institute of Equality – as part of the promotion of the European Equal Treatment Directive – Zielona Góra prepared an installation: a rainbow-colored pavement that leads to the entrance to the Office.
Thus, Zielona Góra will join other cities in the world with rainbow symbols of equality. According to the president of the Institute for Equality, Kacper Kubiak, we will meet similar installations, among others in Amsterdam, New York, San Antonio, Reykjavik, Sydney and San Francisco.
