In Sunday's elections, Poles will choose 53 people who will represent our country in the European Parliament. Polling stations will be open between 7:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. It is worth remembering that electoral silence lasts until the end of voting and severe penalties apply for breaking it.

Elections to the European Parliament are held throughout the European Union. Depending on the country, voting is scheduled for June 6-9. On Sunday, Poles will elect 53 MEPs to the 720-seat chamber.

On June 9, polling stations throughout Poland will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. This means that to vote in elections We have 14 hours until the European Parliament. Polling station opening hours are the same for polling stations abroad – but of course in local time. In this year's European Parliament elections – in accordance with the decision of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs – 299 voting districts will be established abroad. The largest number of district electoral commissions will be in places where there are a larger number of Poles, i.e. in Great Britain, the United States and Germany.

At 9 p.m. on Sunday, when the polling stations close, the electoral silence will end, effective from midnight Friday to Saturday. After the election silence ends, it will be possible to publish the results polls, and after 23 (when the last EU member state finishes its voting, and they will be Italy – ed.) – first election results.
