Stockholm Bromma Airport is the most punctual airport in Europe in 2023 – according to the latest ranking of the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation (Eurocontrol). The top ten best included Warsaw Chopin Airport. The least punctual airport was Le Bourget near Paris.

With almost 6.5 million commercial flights since the beginning of the year, i.e. an average of just under 28,000. flights per day, European airspace is extremely busy this year and this is reflected in punctuality data. According to Eurocontrol, from January to the end of August, 64.4 percent planes departed as planned, and 70.4 percent it arrived on time. The most punctual airports in Europe are Stockholm Bromma in Swedenthe Spanish port of Tenerife Norte and Bergen Airport in Norway.

Warsaw Chopin Airport was in eighth place in the ranking, ahead of, among others, Schiphol airport in Amsterdam (16th place) and all German airports, e.g. the ports of Munich (25th place) and Berlin (33rd place).

Airport punctuality. The worst situation is in Serbia

The ranking indicates that you should avoid the French airport Le Bourget, which tops the list of the least punctual airports. Right next to it was the Moldovan airport in Chisinau, and the inglorious podium is rounded off by the airport in Antalya in Turkey. At the same time, among the 41 countries associated in the European Organization for the Safety of Air Navigation, Poland ranks fourth in terms of airport punctuality. Norway took first place, followed closely by it Finlandand in third place Estonia. The worst performing airports in this respect are those in Moldova, Malta and Serbia.
