Barcelona midfielder Pedri has received the 2021 European Golden Boy award, beating Borussia Dortmund and England’s Jude Bellingham into second place.

The 18-year-old claimed the prize, which is offered yearly by Italian publication Tuttosport to a European-based participant aged 21 or below.

Bellingham’s inclusion as a part of the England squad that made the ultimate of Euro 2020, in addition to his robust performances within the Bundesliga, weren’t sufficient to see him win high spot within the vote.
