For the first time in the history of the European Community, the leader of a great country, going to the summit on European solidarity, declares in advance that he is not going to talk, to agree anything, but to block, destroy and veto. And he has Viktor Orban, Vladimir Putin’s greatest ally, as his partner, Janusz Lewandowski, PO MEP, commented in “Fakty po Faktach”. In his opinion, “a veto is always a weapon of the weak, because it shows zero coalition capacity.”

After the end of the two-day EU summit in Brussels on Friday, the President of the European Council Charles Michel reported that member states had failed to reach an agreement on common conclusions on migration policy. Poland and Hungary during the summit voted against the support of the so-called migration pact.

“The veto is always the weapon of the weak”

– An unheard of thing happened. For the first time in the history of the European Community, the leader of a great country, which was once associated with a constructive attitude in the European Union, going to a summit that was about European solidarity, and this is also a concept that was once associated with Poland, declares in advance that he is not going to talk, to agree anything, just to block, smash and veto. And he has Orban, Putin’s greatest ally, as his partner, commented Janusz Lewandowski in “Fakty po Faktach”.

He expressed the opinion that “the veto is always a weapon of the weak, because it shows zero coalition capacity.” – Both (Morawiecki and Orban – ed.) went (to Brussels – ed.) knowing how marginalized they are – he said.

In his opinion, “Morawiecki fulfilled the mission given to him from Żoliborz, so that the fuel of this election campaign was to scare Poles against refugees, against strangers.” – Because this is Kaczyński’s way of politics. He lives from such dark sides of the Polish soul – said Lewandowski.

According to him, with such an approach of the president PIS no benefits for Poland. In his opinion, this “adventurous way of being in the EU” is addressed to that part of Polish society that remains “trapped in the information bubble” and believes that “this is the defense of Polish sovereignty.”

Lewandowski: Orban repeats Putin’s propaganda

Lewandowski also referred to the words of Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban, who a few days ago in an interview with the German newspapers “Welt” and “Bild” and the Politico portal he said that “Ukraine it is no longer a sovereign state because it has neither money nor weapons.” Orban also said he did not think so Vladimir Putin for a war criminal.

According to Lewandowski, Orban “repeats Putin’s propaganda, hideous to bleeding Ukraine.” He noted that this is not the first time that the leader of the Hungarian government has hit Ukraine. He reminded that immediately after the Russian aggression against this country, Orban began to raise the issue of the Hungarian minority in Transcarpathia, he established long-term supplies with Gazprom, which “completely make him dependent on Russian gas or oil supplies in a situation where Europe was breaking raw material ties in a rather dramatic way for itself.” with Russia, because she knew that these are blood rubles that serve the war.

– Now Orban is Putin’s mouthpiece. Denying independent statehood to Ukraine is precisely Putin’s language. Of course, he is lonely in this respect – noted Lewandowski. – On the other hand, in this adventurism towards the European Union, in these anti-European accents, in depreciating the Union, he has an accomplice in Morawiecki – he assessed.
