Evacuation of Poles from the Gaza Strip. The planes landed

On Monday, after 2:30 p.m., both planes landing in Warsaw Egypt 18 Polish citizens evacuated from the Gaza Strip were brought.

“I am glad that I could deliver good news on Saturday, but it is worth remembering that it was a difficult puzzle with terrorists and services in the game” – wrote Jacek Siewiera, head of the National Security Bureau on the X platform, on Monday morning. He commented on the exit of 18 Polish citizens from Gaza Strip. “There was no Gordian knot on site. People at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs were still doing a good job,” said the head of the National Security Bureau.

As Siewiera said earlier, “the launch of the evacuation process is the result of cooperation and decisions that were made at the level of the president (Andrzej Duda – ed.) and the government, primarily the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.”

– For a long time, our institutions have been in contact with activities aimed at ensuring care for people staying in the Gaza Strip. President Andrzej Duda a few days ago, he also met the family of Alex Danzyg (one of the Polish citizens in the Gaza Strip – ed.), most likely detained by terrorists. We are involved in various formats in talks regarding the release of the hostages, he emphasized.

– Intensive diplomatic activities were conducted by Minister Zbigniew Rau and Deputy Minister Paweł Jabłoński.
