Jaguar Racing gave the Kiwi his first skilled contract in motorsport when he was employed straight from the GP2 Sequence for an electrical championship debut in 2016-17.
Evans has since stayed put on the squad and out-lasted team-mates Adam Carroll, inaugural sequence champion Nelson Piquet Jr, Alex Lynn, James Calado and Tom Blomqvist.
Evans, the 2012 GP3 Sequence champion, will proceed alongside star signing Sam Fowl for the 2022 marketing campaign and into 2022-23 to help the event of the squad’s Gen3 machine.
This comes after the overarching Jaguar Land Rover manufacturer committed to the new rules set for 470bhp and 120kg lighter automobiles forward of the latest London E-Prix double-header.

Managed by ex-Components 1 driver and Porsche ambassador Mark Webber, Evans was closely linked with the German producer as a possible substitute for the incumbent Andre Lotterer.
However with Jaguar Racing proving to be a constant frontrunner over the previous two years and with the addition of Fowl on a multi-year deal, Evans has opted to remain in a present of “loyalty”.
He informed Autosport: “It may have been a little bit of a crossroad, a turning level for me to go elsewhere.
“I had some superb choices to maneuver if I needed to, however I am actually joyful [here].
“I like the model, I like the route and simply the drive throughout the group.
