As a result, the magazines, which were filled during the last suspension of the weapon, stand empty, and the bakeries that provided bread to hundreds of thousands of people were closed. Field kitchens had to reduce the portions issued. The prices of products that are still available have increased rapidly.

They stand in long queues for hours, waiting for a bowl of food. For many of them it is the only meal during the day. From the beginning of March Israel It blocks the supplies of humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip.

– There is no food, no water. There is nothing. Every day, children die of hunger – says Salah Al -Madhoun, a resident of the Gaza Zone.

Since the end of the suspension, weapons food prices in the Gaza Strip have increased by up to 1,400 percent. – 25 bakeries, which we supported in the Gaza Strip and which provided bread to 800 thousand Palestinians, were closed. We ended up food packages – says Antoine Renard from the World Food Program.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Israel, during the 42-day suspension of weapons, 25,000 trucks with humanitarian aid entered the Gaza Strip. On Friday, the world food program provided the last food supplies for field kitchens. Aid organizations say that Palestinians probably experience the worst humanitarian crisis since the beginning of the war.

– We have fewer and fewer stocks and less and less opportunities to meet the growing needs of Palestinians. Their life depends on the abolition of the blockage, which prevents the supply of humanitarian aid – says Jonathan Whitall from the United Nations Office for the coordination of humanitarian aid.

Almost four thousand cases of acute malnutrition among children

Almost 70 percent of the territory of the Gaza Strip was covered by the evacuation orders issued by the Israeli army or is part of the extended buffer zone controlled by Israel's forces. Since the end of the suspension, over 400,000 people have been resettled. Most humanitarian organizations had to suspend or significantly reduce their activities.

– There are regular bombings, intentional attacking of humanitarian workers. Even now you can hear drones and explosions. The situation is terrible not only for civilians, but also for humanitarian organizations who are trying to do their work – describes Georgia Tacey from the Save The Children organization.

The war in the Gaza Strip broke out after Hamas's attack on Israel, which occurred in October 2023. Terrorists killed about 1,200 people and 251 people took it captured. According to the Hamas of the Ministry of Health, the Gaza Zone, over 52,000 Palestinians were killed as a result of Israel's retaliation.
