According to Marek Jarocki, auditor of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year competition, all the finalists have charisma in common. – This is a competition for the entrepreneur of the year, not for companies, so there is an individual element, this emotion, charisma, I think, reflects it best – he said on TVN24 BiS. Moreover, as he emphasized, entrepreneurs are united by perseverance in pursuing their goals and success.

Jarocki talked about the motivations that make entrepreneurs take part in the competition. – There are probably as many motivations as there are candidates. I would say that a very important element is that entrepreneurs can stay together, learn from each other and inspire each other. This is probably what motivates most of the winners – said the auditor of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year competition.
Additionally – as he pointed out – “the winner of the competition sits on the jury that selects subsequent entrepreneurs.” – So a quite elite group is forming, in which these entrepreneurs also cooperate with each other, but also exchange experiences. I think this is one of the main motivators, emphasized Marek Jarocki.
The winner of the Polish edition of the EY Entrepreneur of the Year competition will also represent Poland during the international final, where he will face the winners of local editions of the competition from about 60 countries. The World Entrepreneur of the Year Gala will take place in June 2024 in Monte Carlo.
As Jarocki said, over the years what features jurors pay attention to have changed. – This has changed over the years I have been observing the competition. In the past, great attention was paid to Excel, numbers, and return on investment to pay the shareholders the right amount dividend. Today it is moving a bit towards corporate social responsibility. Entrepreneurs greatly appreciate this feature and this activity today – said the TVN24 BiS guest.
