The Azerbaijan Grand Prix brought surprising situations from the very beginning. In the first part of Saturday's qualifying, Lando Norris, fighting for the title, took only 17th place. In the end, pole position was taken by Charles Leclerc, who overtook Oscar Piastri, Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez. And after Sunday's race, the Spaniard and Mexican in particular are the talk of the town.
Sergio Perez lost his cool after a collision with Carlos Sainz. Very strong words were said
With two laps to go, Sainz and Perez were battling Leclerc for second place. But their plans were ruined when their cars collided – as the Spaniard passed the Mexican, he hit the rear wheel of his rival's car and they both ended up in the barriers.
Furious, Perez was unable to control his nerves and began shouting at his team over the radio. “Man, what the f*** is he doing? What the f*** is going on here? Is he mad or what? A f***ing idiot,” he fumed (quote from sportbible.com). A video is circulating on social media showing the Mexican approaching the Spaniard in the car and seemingly nudging him in the head.

The bad luck of Perez and Sainz (both finished as non-classified) was used by Leclerc, who maintained the second position, and George Russell, who managed to take the place on the lowest step of the podium. Piastri won with a large advantage. Next weekend Formula 1 will come to Singapore (20-22 September).
