I have no doubt that Grzegorz Braun acted consciously, on purpose, there were no emotions there – said Joanna Kluzik-Rostkowska from the Civic Coalition in “Fakty po Faktach”, referring to Tuesday’s incident in the Sejm with the participation of a Confederation MP. Vice-President of Poland 2050, Michał Kobosko, added that he could not imagine cooperation with Braun on serious European topics.
Confederation MP Grzegorz Braun extinguished Hanukkah candles with a fire extinguisher in the Sejm on Tuesday. Marshal Szymon Hołownia excluded Braun from participating in the House meeting. Hołownia also announced that a request to the prosecutor’s office will be submitted against Braun in connection with his disruption of a religious ceremony on the premises of the Sejm.
Incident involving Braun
The guests of “Fakty po Faktowy” were asked about the incident in connection with Tuesday’s incident Krzysztof Bosak from the Confederation deserves to retain the position of deputy speaker of the Sejm.
Michał Kobosko stated that “if the response of the Confederation club to this shameful act, a criminal offense, if the suspension of MP Braun, then he probably does not deserve this place.” – I mean, not entirely Confederation and Marshal Bosak do not fully understand the seriousness of what happened – added the TVN24 interlocutor.
– You can hang a painting on the wall at home – said Kobosko. He stated that after such an event, Braun “should not find a place anywhere in his current club.” The vice-president of Poland 2050 also stated that he could not imagine Braun continuing to work in the Sejm.
Kobosko recalled that he is the chairman of the Parliamentary Committee for European Union Affairs, to which the Confederation MP is a member. – I cannot imagine cooperation with MP Braun on the serious European issues that we have before us – added Kobosko.
“Braun acted consciously, deliberately, there were no emotions there”
Joanna Kluzik-Rostkowska expressed a similar opinion. – I have no doubt that Braun acted consciously, deliberately, there were no emotions there – she said.
– But actually, it’s much more serious. (…) There are various elements of hybrid war in Poland. It’s about us being weak and divided. This type of thing is also an element of hybrid war, she added.
According to TVN24’s interlocutor, Grzegorz Braun’s actions clearly fit into the hybrid war in Poland and contribute to intensifying the threat. – I think it is no coincidence that at the moment when the entire Western world was happy Donald Tusk is back and that we have a democratic government, things are happening that force the world media to talk about Grzegorz Braun – said Kluzik-Rostkowska.
