Santander Bank customers complain on social media about difficulties in accessing their money. “Your application doesn’t work again. You can’t pay by card again…” wrote one of them on Facebook. The bank’s representatives write in response that work is underway to fix the application failure, but the cards should now work.
On Thursday afternoon, Santander Bank Polska customers began to report problems with handling payment cards and using the bank’s application.
“Santander Bank Polska it’s nice to be left with a basket full of purchases at the checkout with your sorry…” – this is one of many comments under today’s post by Santander Bank Polska on Facebook. Although the post was about safe online shopping, most commenters complained about a failure that prevented them from paying with cards or using the application.
One of the clients also pointed out that “SMS codes do not arrive either.”
In response to customer entries, Santander Bank Polska assured before 7 p.m. that in the case of the application, it was “working on removing the difficulties”, while the cards “should now work”. “We apologize for the inconvenience,” it added.
Reports to the Downdetector website, which monitors access to services, show that the failure began just after 6 p.m.
