A policeman on duty helped stop a drunk driver who was slalom along the S3 expressway with his dog in the car. The study showed that he had three levels of alcohol in his body.

Commissioner Sławomir Wojsa from the Municipal Police Headquarters in Zielona Góra was going to work on Thursday when around 19.30, when he noticed a Renault Clio driving on the Northern Route, driving a zigzag. The policeman immediately notified the duty officer about the situation, and he himself drove the suspiciously behaving driver.

He hit the expressway

The one at the roundabout drove from left to right, then at the exit to the S3 expressway, he almost hit the energy-consuming barriers.

– The driver of the Clio took the S3 expressway, where he was speeding. Several times he literally rubbed against the safety rails, and also barely avoided a collision with the truck. After a few kilometers, there was a situation where only the vigilance and reflexes of the Fiat Seicento driver saved him from a collision. The driver of the seicento, seeing the vehicle dangerously moving behind him in the mirror, turned into the emergency lane and it was probably this maneuver that saved him from a collision with a drunk driver – informs Małgorzata Stanisławska from the police in Zielona Góra.
