They don’t want the Green Deal

– This is a cry for help and a fight for our common good, but above all for the good of all consumers who should have access to healthy food produced in the European Union and, above all, this food should be at an affordable price – they said before the event.

Farmers have been protesting in Poland since February 9. They oppose the introduction of the Green Deal and the inflow of goods from Ukraine. The European Green Deal is a package of policy initiatives aimed at putting the EU on the path to ecological transformation and ultimately achieving climate neutrality by 2050. The package includes initiatives in closely related areas, e.g. climate, environment, energy, transport, industry, agriculture and sustainable financing.

  • A blockade was also set up in the town Dębe where it connects national road No. 62 with provincial road No. 632.
