Farmers’ protest on February 9. Difficulties in Mazovia


A nationwide farmers’ protest begins on Friday. National and provincial roads are to be blocked in many regions, including Mazovia. Farmers are opposed to the introduction of the Green Deal, the inflow of goods from Ukraine and point to the decline in production profitability.

In Masovia, drivers can, among others: be stopped by farmers near Mińsk Mazowiecki – between Trzebucza, part of the A2 and national road no. 92 through Kałuszyn to Stojadeł and from there via national road no. 50 to the Arynów roundabout. Difficulties may also affect those traveling from Kacice near Pułtusk on national road number 61 through Serock and Wierzbica to Jabłonna.

The Żyrardów police also wrote about the difficulties on social media.

“From 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Grójec, in the area of ​​the roundabouts at ul. Piotra Skargi and Armii Krajowej, there will be a farmers’ protest. As part of the protest, the passage of agricultural tractors is possible on the DK-50 route on the Grójec – Konie – Mszczonów section.” – reserved.

The police suggested that drivers should refrain from traveling by car that day or choose alternative detours. As assured, police officers will ensure traffic safety.

NSZZ Rolników Indywidualnych “Solidarność” on social media has shared a map of agricultural protests planned for Friday. “The map is constantly updated,” it was emphasized in the Facebook post. On Friday morning, the list of planned protests included over 260 places throughout Poland.

The protests are scheduled to start on Friday before noon, with some activities starting as early as 8 a.m. Traffic and communication difficulties in cities may last even until 6 p.m. In the case of border crossings, even month-long blockades are planned.
