FBI: Texas synagogue hostage incident each a ‘hate crime’ and ‘act of terrorism’ focusing on Jewish neighborhood

Officers stated throughout a press convention on Friday that the hostage scenario at a synagogue in Colleyville, Texas was each an “act of terrorism” and a “hate crime.”

Federal Bureau of Investigations Particular Agent in Cost Matthew DeSarno stated that the hostage taker’s calls for clearly met the definition of terrorism.

Authorities say that Malik Faisal Akram, 44, a British nationwide, entered the Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville on Saturday and took Jewish worshippers hostage.
