Goncalo Feio once again couldn't handle the pressure. This time, after Legia Warsaw's 1:1 draw with Brondby, he started showing his middle fingers and provoking fans rivals. The Portuguese, who is known for his sharp temper, later apologized, was punished by UEFA and at the same time, he became famous again. This does not mean that experts are favorable to him.

Komorowski gave an interview TVP Sport and pointed out that Legia is getting going quite slowly at the start of the season, and results are better than the game. The former defender of the Warsaw club, however, believes that the club has a big problem on its hands and it is the atmosphere around Feio.
– For me, such behavior in the case of a coach is unthinkable. Later I heard his explanation that he was provoked. I think that Carlo Ancelotti also encountered many times that someone tried to throw him off balance and in many years of his career he never once showed someone the middle finger. For me, it is unacceptable – says the 13-time representative of Poland directly.
Komorowski compared the situation to that introduced at Legia by Ricardo Sa Pinto, Feio's compatriot. At that time, the coach left the club in chaos after numerous brawls and players being removed from the team. According to the former Polish national team coach “on the rise” should not behave like that.
– I wouldn't take him seriously. Respect and authority have to be built all the time. What will Feio do when he hears insulting shouts from Lech Poznań or Widzew Łódź fans? Will he go and fight them? Let's see that the Legia coach can't stand the pressure when he's getting good results. – I am surprised that a coach who has already achieved something big should get such a prestigious job. Experienced coaches who have already achieved something big should always work in such a club. The Legia coach can still come to his senses and if he does, it will definitely do him good. However, if this behaviour is repeated, it does not bode well for long-term cooperation between him and the club – sums up the 40-year-old.
Legia Warsaw, under Feio's leadership, is defending itself with results. The club from the capital is the leader of the Ekstraklasa, and on Thursday it will play the first match of the fourth round of the Conference League qualifiers with Kosovo's Drita. This match will start at 18:00 in Warsaw.
