Tragic accident on national road 91 in Ogrodzona between Łęczyca and Krośniewice (Łódź Province). The driver of a passenger car ran over the back of a moped turning in front of him. The 71-year-old driver of the motorbike died at the scene. The circumstances of the accident are being investigated by the police under the supervision of the prosecutor's office.
The incident occurred on September 1, around 9 p.m., in the town of Ogrodzona. The services received information that an accident involving a car and a motorcycle had occurred on national road 91.
He ran over the back of a moped. 71-year-old dies
– Initial findings by police officers working on the scene indicate that a 64-year-old man, a resident of Bydgoszcz County, driving a passenger car, for unexplained reasons ran over the back of a moped whose driver was turning left at an intersection. The moped was being driven by a 71-year-old resident of Kutno County, but unfortunately the man died at the scene – informs Senior Constable Mariusz Kowalski from the police in Łęczyca.
