Vintage vehicles

As every year, on the day of the finale of the Great Orchestra of Christmas Charity, historic buses and trams will hit the streets of the capital. They are collected by volunteers from the staff of the Public Transport Lovers’ Club, and instead of charging a ticket fee – they accept donations in colorful cans.

On Sunday, January 28. 32A buses – along route 509 – will connect Gocław and the Wileński station, and will stop along the way, among others: next to the town of WOŚP on the grounds of PGE Narodowy. 32T trams, just like last year, will connect Wiatraczna with Koło, passing along Aleja Zieleniecka next to the WOŚP town, along the WZ and Obozowa routes. Both lines will be served by historic rolling stock, so the streets will feature, among others: Jelcz “cucumbers”, 13N trams, i.e. “sausages”, classic trains from the 1940s.

WOŚP volunteers can travel by public transport around Warsaw for free. They will also not pay for tickets on Koleje Mazowieckie trains.
