Finland, which became the 31st member of NATO in early April, took part in its first exercises as a member of the Alliance. The Finnish frigates together with the German ship FGS Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and the Portuguese NRP Bartolomeu Dias exercised together in the Gulf of Finland, the American magazine “Barron’s” reported on Friday.

FGS Mecklenburg-Vorpommern and NRP Bartolomeu Dias will remain in the port of Helsinki until Sunday, the navy announced on Thursday Finland.
