On the A1 motorway, near Ciechocinek, there was a four-vehicle collision on Sunday. One of the cars burst into flames, burning the asphalt. There are huge difficulties in the direction of Łódź.
A four-car collision occurred before 6 p.m. on Sunday. After the collision, one of the cars burst into flames. As reported by the Road Information Point in Bydgoszcz, from 11 p.m. on Sunday, traffic is only moving on the emergency lane. Two lanes of the A1 towards Łódź are impassable due to the burnt road surface.
The Ciechocinek junction is also blocked, there is no passage there, and traffic in this place is directed to DK91.

Three people injured
As reported by the officer on duty at the control station of the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service in Włocławek, a total of four passenger cars and nine people were involved in the incident.
As reported by the firefighter, as a result of the accident, three people were taken to the hospital. One of the injured people was a 31-year-old man, who was taken to the hospital conscious. This man – as reported by the services – was pulled out by bystanders from the car, which caught fire a moment later.
The next injured person taken to hospital is a 49-year-old woman. The last injured person is a 52-year-old man.
Among those involved in the incident were two children aged 9 and 10. The ambulance service checked their health, but no decision was made to take them to hospital.
There were two dogs involved in the accident, one of them did not survive.
