Hollywood actress Jennifer Garner has become involved in charity work to help victims of the Los Angeles County wildfires. – There are thousands, if not millions, of people who would do the same if they had the opportunity. My house is safe, I am safe. So I'm speaking from a position of happiness and privilege – she admitted in an interview with the correspondent of “Fakty” TVN, Marcin Wrona.

In Los Angeles County, the fight against fires devastated entire towns continues. The fire has so far destroyed thousands of buildings, including the homes of celebrities. They include Paris Hilton and Billy Crystal.

Jennifer Garner helps fire victims

Actress Jennifer Garner, known, among others, for her main role in the series “Agent with a Hundred Faces”, became involved in charity work to help fire victims. Marcin Wrona, a correspondent of “Fakty” TVN, talked to her.

– I'm just lucky to have this opportunity because I work for Save the Children. This organization works closely with World Central Kitchen in the areas of disaster relief for children. Save the Children doesn't work here yet, but we intend to help children in Los Angeles, Altadena, Palisades, Santa Monica, Malibu. I knew I just had to be here, she said.

– I have to act and I'm lucky because I have the opportunity to do so. There are thousands, if not millions, of people who would do the same if they had the opportunity. My house is safe, I am safe. So I'm speaking from a place of happiness and privilege, she added.

Garner: People here are incredibly supportive of each other

Garner admitted she has more friends in the devastated neighborhood “than she can count.” “I lived in this area and traveled back and forth for 25 years,” she added.

– We will need real leadership to help us rebuild what was destroyed. But the community here is very strong and people are incredibly helpful. And we will take care of each other, the actress assured.
