The following days will bring with them a warm but violent aura. Next week, masses of air from Africa will begin to pour over our continent, bringing with them temperatures of up to 30 degrees Celsius. How long will the hot weather stay with us?
Over the next 24 hours, Poland will continue to be in a low-pressure field stretching from the south-eastern outskirts of Europe to the southern tip of Scandinavia, forecaster Daniel Kowalczyk told tvnmeteo.pl. Just behind our eastern border there is a wavy atmospheric front bringing heavy clouds with rainfall in the eastern regions of our country. The rest of Poland is located in a slightly cooler mass of polar air. There are favorable conditions for the development and uplift of precipitation clouds, from which it will thunder in places on Sunday.
As the forecaster explained, next week a high will be located over the Apennine Peninsula, which will open the way for hot air masses from Africa over the Old Continent. In the longer term, it will direct the heat stream to our regions of the continent. The temperature in the middle of next week may exceed 30 degrees Celsius in places in Poland. However, the heat at the end of the week will be displaced by air masses from the Atlantic, which will bring another wave of rain and thunderstorms. Indications on thermometers will drop by a few lines, but the third decade of June promises to be quite warm anyway.
Forecast for Sunday
Sunday it will bring moderate and heavy clouds with showers of up to 5-20 liters of rain per square meter, and in places – especially in the central and eastern part of the country – thunderstorms, locally with hail. Thermometers will indicate from 21 degrees C in the Suwałki region, through 23 degrees C in the center of the country to 25 degrees C in Lower Silesia. The north-west wind will blow, weak and moderate, strong in storms.
Forecast for Monday and Tuesday
IN Monday in the eastern and partly in the central regions of the country it is expected to be stormy. Other than that, the day promises to be sunny. The maximum temperature will be from 22 degrees C in the Suwałki region, through 26 degrees C in central Poland to 28 degrees C in Lower Silesia. The wind will be mostly south-east, only in the east, weak and moderate, and strong during a storm.
Tuesday it will pass under the sign of cumulus clouds, small and moderate. Thermometers will show a maximum of 24 degrees C in Podkarpacie, through 27 degrees C in the center of the country to 29 degrees C in Lower Silesia. There will be a light, variable wind with a predominance of gusts from the north-east.

The wind from the south will turn out to be weak and moderate, only in storms strong and reaching a speed of 70-90 kilometers per hour.

The maximum temperature will be from 25 degrees C in Western Pomerania, through 26 degrees C in the center of the country to 28 degrees C in Podkarpacie.
