Foreign Minister RadosÅ‚aw Sikorski met in Washington with the Secretary of State of the USA Marco Rubio. The Sejm adopted an amendment to the act on the performance of the mandate of a deputy and senator, referred to as “Lex Romanowski”. MP Edward Siarka was punished with a maximum penalty of PLN 20,000 for the word shouted during the sitting of the Sejm. Here are five things that are worth knowing on Saturday, February 22.

1. Sikorski met with Rubio

Minister of Foreign Affairs Radosław Sikorski met with the Secretary of State USA Marco Rubio. He appeared at him at a press conference.

As he said, the topics of the talks were “current affairs of war and peace in Europe, but also cooperation in such distant countries as North Korea, Venezuela, Kuba, Iran.” He said that Rubio accepted his invitation to Poland. He stated that “it was a strong conversation between close allies.”

Amendment to the Act on the performance of the mandate of a deputy and senator, referred to as “Lex Romanowski“, she was adopted with Senate amendments on Friday by the Sejm.

Amendments clarify that parliamentarians who cannot temporarily be arrested will also be deprived of the right to salary, because they are hiding or are outside the country.

3. Sulfur punished

MP Edward Siarka stayed punished a maximum penalty of PLN 20,000 – said the Speaker of the Sejm Szymon HoÅ‚ownia. He added that an application was also submitted to the prosecutor's office.

On Thursday in the Sejm former Minister of Justice, PiS MP Zbigniew Ziobrotaking the floor during consideration of the application for a temporary detention against him, he said that “Donald Tusk would go to sit”. 4. Unofficially: Duda will fly to the USA. Will meet with Trump

The correspondent of “Facts” TVN Marcin Wrona reported unofficial information that on Saturday the president will fly to Washington Andrzej Duda and will meet with Donald Trump.

As Wrona reported, it could take place in the White House, and if not there, the “most convenient” place for such a meeting would be the ongoing conference of American CPAC conservatives. On Saturday he will speak there Donald Trump.

5. Roman salut at the CPAC conference

In Maryland, Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC), an annual conservative conference, called the “Magic Movement Mecca”.
