3. Forest fires in Greece and Tenerife
A fire that broke out on Saturday morning destroyed more than a dozen houses and a church in villages near the city of Alexandroupolis in the northeast Greeceat the border with Turkey. Residents of more than 10 nearby towns were evacuated. “It was a very hard night,” said Mayor Giannis Zamboukis. The Netherlands will deliver Ukraine 42 F-16 aircraft, the president of Ukraine announced on Sunday Volodymyr Zelensky, after meeting with the Dutch head of government.
