1. A man stabbed a 5-year-old in the street

A 5-year-old boy who was stabbed by a man on a street in Poznań has died. The child died in hospital. The police detained the 71-year-old attacker.

The officers have no information that the man and the boy have any family ties. The 71-year-old will spend the night in hospital. He may be charged on Thursday.

2. Long queue for high clearance

Over 140 MPs will have to say goodbye to the Sejm benches – according to our calculations. Among them are such recognizable politicians as: Janusz Korwin-Mikke, Monika PawÅ‚owska, Artur Dziambor, Tadeusz CymaÅ„ski, Jadwiga Emilewicz, Zbigniew GirzyÅ„ski, Dobromir SoÅ›nierz, Tomasz Rzymkowski and Hanna Gill-PiÄ…tek. As a consolation, however, they will receive high severance pay.

Pursuant to Art. 39 of the Act on the exercise of the mandate of a deputy and senator, a deputy and senator is entitled to a parliamentary severance pay in the amount of three salaries at the end of their term of office.

3. Korwin-Mikke suspended as a member of the Confederation

Janusz Korwin-Mikke was suspended as a member of the Confederation and expelled from the Leaders’ Council – informed the head of the Confederation’s electoral staff, Witold Tumanowicz. He added that if the politician breaks the terms of suspension, the party court will consider his removal from the Confederation.

Janusz Korwin-Mikke said that no one informed him about the details of the party court’s decision. He added that he asked for the court hearing to be postponed for two days, but this did not happen.
