On Friday, police surrounded a property in the Rozogi commune (Warmian-Masurian Voivodeship). As reported by the spokesman for the District Prosecutor's Office in Olsztyn, Daniel Brodowski, there was an armed man and a victim on the premises, who is probably dead. A police negotiator appeared on the scene. As reported by Senior Warrant Officer Rafał Jackowski from the Olsztyn police, the man was detained after 5 a.m. He did not provide any more details.

2. The Campus Poland of the Future has started

3. Historic visit of Indian Prime Minister to Kiev
The Indian Prime Minister arrived in Kyiv on Friday morning for a one-day visitwhere he was welcomed by President Volodymyr Zelensky. This is a historic one, because it is the first trip of the head of the Indian government to Ukraine since it gained independence in 1991.

Narendra Modi he repeated the authorities' previous position in Kiev Indiathat the armed conflict can only be resolved through dialogue and diplomacy, and that Delhi is ready to actively contribute to efforts for peace. At the same time, he stressed that his country supports “respect for the sovereignty and territorial integrity” of Ukraine. “This is of great importance to us,” he added.
During Modi's visit, it was agreed to adopt cooperation agreements between Ukraine and India in the medical, agricultural, humanitarian and cultural spheres.
4. Investigation into the case of the first president of the Supreme Court
The National Prosecutor's Office initiated investigation into abuse of power by the First President of the Supreme Court Małgorzata Manowska – informed the PK spokesman. He added that the initiation of the investigation allows for the conduct of a full evidentiary procedure.
The investigation is ongoing into the abuse of power by the First President of the Supreme Court – between September 2021 and July 2022 in Warsaw – by “conducting votes of members of the Supreme Court Board in a circulating mode”. During these votes, it was considered that judges who declared their abstention from participating in the work of the Supreme Court Board until the complete cessation of the activities of the then Disciplinary Chamber cast “abstention votes”, which were counted towards the quorum required by law.
5. Regulation on religious education. Episcopate intervenes in Supreme Court
The Episcopal Presidium and the Polish Ecumenical Council wantfor the First President of the Supreme Court to appeal to the Constitutional Tribunal against the regulation MEN regarding religious education classes – informed the spokesman of the Episcopate, Fr. Leszek Gęsiak. This concerns the regulation on combining religious education classes when fewer than seven students want to teach them in a class. At the same time, the regulation introduces the principle according to which primary school students can be combined into a group including students from grades I-III or grades IV-VI or grades VII and VIII.
– This regulation (…) in the opinion of the Churches contains many legal defects. In connection with this, after numerous consultations, also among specialists in canon law and civil law, both the Catholic Church and the Polish Ecumenical Council decided to prepare a special petition, which this morning (Friday – ed.) at 10 a.m. was submitted to the secretariat of the First President of the Supreme Court – informed Fr. Gęsiak.
