224 out of 300 electors, including parliamentarians and representatives of local authorities, supported the presidential elections in Georgia Mikheil Kavelashvili, electing him to this office. He was the only candidate. He is supported by the country's ruling Georgian Dream party. Opposition representatives did not take part in the vote.
This is the first time in history that the presidential election in Georgia is not done by direct voting. The inauguration of the new head of state is scheduled for December 29.

The election took place in the shadow of protests that have continued since November 28. Demonstrators oppose the policy of Georgian Dream, which has suspended talks on the country's accession to the EU by 2028. The protesters are supported by the passing president of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, who announced that she will not leave office and will not recognize the election of the new president.
2. PSL supports Hołownia
The Supreme Council of the Polish People's Party adopted by acclamation the resolution of supporting Szymon Hołownia's candidacy in next year's presidential elections.
– These will be good months. We will convince many Poles and Polish women that an independent president, for the first time in 20 years, not from one or the other large camp, is a good solution – said the Marshal of the Sejm.
– We can proudly say that we have our own candidate who is not only the candidate of one environment, but is the candidate of several political circles, and will be, above all, the candidate of all citizens, we are counting on that – said the head of the PSL, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of National Defense Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz.

5. Enigma in Gdańsk
The Holy Grail of history lovers – especially of the World War II period – was found on Sobieszewska Island in Gdańsk. Constructed in the 1920s, Enigma was intended for commercial use, but was quickly used in the German military.
The first part – the drum – of the famous cipher machine was found by Mrs. Marta, who is a novice in this type of research. Then, together with other members of the Latebra Foundation, she started digging more out of the ground.
