1. The National Electoral Commission issues a resolution regarding money for PiS
The head of the National Electoral Commission, Sylwester Marciniak, announced that “the National Electoral Commission, implementing the decision of the Supreme Court, adopted the financial report of the PiS committee from the 2023 parliamentary elections.” He said that four out of nine members voted in favor of adopting such a resolution NECthree were against and two abstained.
In the evening, Prime Minister Donald Tusk commented on the matter on the X platform. “'There is no money and there will be no money'. In my opinion, this is what the National Electoral Commission's resolution says,” he wrote.
2. Palikot will remain in custody
The court extended Janusz Palikot's arrest by three months. However, he can be released after paying PLN 2 million bail by January 31.
The earlier deadline expired on December 26, but the family of the former MP and businessman did not collect the entire amount.

3. Complaint to change the sentence for a former PiS senator
The prosecutor's office in Kościerzyna appealed against the court's decision, which changed Waldemar Bonkowski's sentence from community service to monetary benefits.
This was the second part of the sentence of a former PiS senator who was convicted of particularly cruel treatment of a dog. The animal did not survive.
4. Hungary will lose over a billion euros
Under the conditionality mechanism, Hungary will lose over EUR 1 billion from cohesion policy, confirmed European Commission spokeswoman Anna-Kaisa Itkonen.
This money will be lost forever. Hungary will have no appeal options. This is not the end of the bad news, as they may lose another billion euros.
5. Former deputy minister at Lukashenko's regime television
Krzysztof Tołwiński, former activist PSLPiS, and even a deputy minister in the government Jarosław Kaczyńskiappeared on regime Belarusian television.
