TVP informs about claims brought against the company for materials broadcast in 2016-2023. The prosecutor's office initiated an investigation into the abuse of powers by the head of the neo-National Council of the Judiciary. 2. Investigation into the case of the head of the neo-National Council of the Judiciary

The District Prosecutor's Office in Warsaw has initiated an investigation into the abuse of powers by the chairwoman of the new National Council of the Judiciary, Dagmara Pawełczyk-Woicka – TVN24 has learned.

The notification in this case was submitted by the judge Paweł Strumiński from Gliwice – in his opinion, Pawełczyk-Woicka falsely accused him of committing the crime of exceeding his powers under Art. 231 par. 1 of the Penal Code, i.e. an act under Art. 231 par. 1 Penal Code in connection with joke. 234 Penal Code

3. Announcement of increasing the tax-free amount and reducing Belka's tax

The Polish economy is not prepared to adopt the common currency. There is no work in progress at the Ministry of Finance on adopting the euro, said the Minister of Finance Andrzej Domański during a speech on the Civic Coalition's social media.

The head of the Ministry of Finance recalled that he was obliged to develop a plan to introduce a tax-free amount for natural persons of PLN 60,000. zloty. He maintained the declaration that this solution would come into force, although he did not provide any date. He also talked about changes in capital gains tax, i.e. the so-called Belka tax.

4. Explosion on the premises of a military university in St. Petersburg

There was an explosion on the premises of the Military Academy of Communications in St. Petersburg, Russian media report. The first unofficial reports indicated that a drone may have fallen near the university.

However, the Leningrad Military District officially announced that ammunition exploded on the academy premises during cleaning. At least seven people were injured.
