1. New tapes by Mraz and Romanowski

For several days now, the media have been publishing recordings recorded over the last two years by Tomasz Mraz – former director of the Justice Fund Department at the Ministry of Justice. Mraz is one of the suspects in the investigation into the Justice Fund, described as the “key witness” in the case who is “slandering the gangsters.” Zbigniew Ziobro and his support from Sovereign Poland managed this ministry for years.

2. Bombardment of Kharkov and the command's announcement

As a result of Saturday's Russian attack on a DIY hypermarket in Kharkov, in the northeast Ukraine, six people died and dozens were injured. The raid was carried out using guided bombs.

A statement regarding the Russian attacks was issued by the Operational Command of the Armed Forces on the night from Saturday to Sunday, stating that “Polish and allied aircraft are operating in the airspace.”

3. Jagiellonia Białystok is the Polish champion

Jagiellonia Białystok players defeated Warta Poznań at home and won the Polish championship for the first time in history. Silver medals went to the Śląsk Wrocław players. The fight for the title lasted until the last round of the PKO BP Ekstraklasa.

4. Unsettled weather

Violent storms with heavy rainfall and hail passed through the country on Saturday. Firefighters intervened over 260 times, most often in Greater Poland, Lower Silesia and Lesser Poland.

On Sunday the risk of storms is present in most of the country. Forecasters predict heavy rainfall and hail. It will be very warm, even hot.

5. Saudi Aramco under the hammer

Saudi Aramco, which acquired a 30 percent stake in the Lotos refinery, plans to issue its shares on the stock exchange in Saudi Arabia, Reuters reports. The sale of shares worth $10 billion is at stake. This is to be the largest transaction of this type in the region.
