From tomorrow – November 8 – fully vaccinated people will be able to travel freely to the United States. This applies to both arrivals by land and air. This means opening the US borders to travelers, including those from the European Union, after more than a year of hiatus.

US President Joe Biden signed an executive ordinance at the end of October, lifting the existing restrictions on vaccinated people flying from abroad.

This means the opening from November 8 this year. US borders for vaccinated travelers from around the world. In practice, since March 2020, these borders have been closed to people from over 40 countries, incl. from European Union countries, Brazil and Great Britain.

USA – new entry rules from November 8

Under the new rules, tourists will be able to visit America if they are fully vaccinated and tested negative for COVID-19 at the earliest 3 days before departure.

The only recognized vaccines will be those approved by the US FDA (Pfizer, Moderna, Johnson & Johnson) and WHO-listed (AstraZeneca, Covishield, Sinopharm, Sinovac).

These rules will not apply to minors and citizens of countries where the vaccination rate is below 10%. due to the lack of vaccines. The unvaccinated will have to submit a negative test result the day before departure at the latest.

President Joe Biden’s administration announced in September that it would open borders to vaccinated travelers from all over the world in November.
