Another day of fighting the elements in southwestern Poland. Yesterday, an absolute evacuation was announced earlier in the lower part of Paczków, the lower part of Kozielno and the lower part of Stare Paczków. This is after the damage to the Topola reservoir on the Nysa Kłodzka. This destruction was reported from the plane by TVN24 reporter Marta Balukiewicz.

The situation in the Opole province is still very difficult. The Opole Voivodeship Office reported that the most negative events occurred in the Nysa, Prudnik and Głubczyce counties.

In the lower part of Paczków, the lower part of Kozielno and the lower part of Stare Paczków, an absolute evacuation was ordered following damage to the Topola reservoir on the Nysa Kłodzka.

“No one can guarantee that this damage will not increase. Regardless, I kindly ask residents of threatened areas to report the need to evacuate or to evacuate themselves,” warned the mayor of Paczków, Artur Rolka.

On Monday morning, the Paczków authorities received information from the Regional Water Management Authority for Polish Waters in Wrocław about damage to the Topola reservoir dam on the Nysa Kłodzka River.

The water flows through the surface overflow to the Kozielno reservoir and then through the Nysa Kłodzka riverbed to the Otmuchów reservoir.
