Police pilots using a Black Hawk evacuated fourteen people from the area of ​​Lewin Brzeski in the Opole region, including a two-year-old child and a woman in advanced pregnancy. “Everyone is now safe, under the care of medics. We continue to save people,” the police said in a statement.

Everyone is now safe, under the care of medics. We continue to save people,” the police reported on social media.

“In places where high-voltage lines are located and rope techniques cannot be used, officers in special suits carry residents out of flooded areas on their hands to safely place them in a police helicopter waiting nearby and evacuate them from threatened areas,” the release reads.
