The Chief Commander of Police, Superintendent Marek Boroń, informed at a meeting of the flood crisis team in Wrocław that 3,241 people had been evacuated since the beginning of the operations. “Unfortunately, we have four fatalities,” he said.
The crisis team met in Wrocław on Monday afternoon. In addition to the head of government Donald Tusk the head of the Ministry of National Defense also took part in it Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamyszboss Ministry of Interior and Administration Tomasz Siemoniak and representatives of the emergency and uniformed services. Earlier that day, a regulation was published in the Journal of Laws on the government's declaration of a state of natural disaster in the flood-affected parts of the Lower Silesia, Opole and Silesian voivodeships.
Flood fatalities
