The number of fatalities from the flood is currently nine – announced on Saturday during the first part of the government meeting, the Chief of Police, Superintendent Marek Boroń. He added that one person is still wanted.

Prime minister Donald Tusk announced – opening Saturday's meeting of the Council of Ministers – that the first part of it will be a staff briefing in connection with the flood situation. The next one will be confidential.

Tusk announced that he had invited people who had participated in crisis teams in recent days in connection with the flood situation.

Chief Inspector of Police, Superintendent Marek Boroń, informing about the current situation, said that at the moment “there are nine deaths”. – We've got two people. Today I would not like to talk about the bodies we found because they need to be identified. After identification, we will know who these people are, he said.
