The car in which five teenagers were traveling crashed into a reservoir in southwest Florida. All passengers were killed, local police said on Monday. The causes of the tragedy are unknown.

The accident happened in Fort Myers, Florida on Sunday night or early Monday morning. As a result, three girls and two boys were killed. They were all aged between 18 and 19, the local police department said.

The cause of the accident was not given and the names of the victims were not disclosed. The police are investigating the matter.

Fort Myers Police Homicide investigators have appealed to anyone who may have information about what happened before and after the tragedy to come forward. Fox 35 Orlando is offering a $3,000 reward for information on the case.

Local media say the four teenagers worked together at the Texas Roadhouse restaurant, less than a mile from the accident site.

“We are deeply saddened by the loss of four of our Roadies. Our team joins in mourning with their families and friends,” reads a post on the restaurant’s social media profile. Due to the tragic death of employees, the restaurant remained closed on Monday.
