President Andrzej Duda wrote on Twitter: “Gen. Janusz Adamczak has been elected to one of the most important allied positions – director of the NATO International Military Staff. Great success of Poland and Mr. General! Congratulations!”.

Lieutenant General Janusz Adamczak is Poland’s representative in NATO and EU military committees.

Minister of National Defense Mariusz Błaszczak congratulated General Janusz Adamczak on social media for the election to the new position. “An important day for Poland, for the Polish Army and NATO.
