Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau has obtained a positive test for the presence of coronavirus – said the spokesman of the Ministry, Łukasz Jasina. He added that, therefore, the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs canceled his visits to Spain and Malta planned in the coming days.
“Due to the positive result of the SARS-CoV-2 test, Minister of Foreign Affairs Zbigniew Rau canceled his visits to Spain and Malta. Minister Rau will soon fulfill his duties in a manner consistent with the procedures for this type of situation” – he wrote on Twitter Jasin.
He added that Rau had taken three doses of the vaccine, was feeling well and was in isolation according to the regulations in force.
On Thursday, the head of Polish diplomacy was to visit Spain and meet in Madrid with his Spanish counterpart Jose Manuel Albares Bueno to talk, inter alia, about security issues in and around Europe.
